Alexey Zinin discusses the principles of play that Juan Karsedo applies at Spartak from Pafos, emphasizing aggressive play without the ball and set-pieces.

In an exclusive interview, Alexey Zinin revealed that Juan Karsedo has brought some principles of the game from Pafos to Spartak. "In some ways, Juan adapted, but I saw that the team was very aggressive in working without the ball, actively used fast attacks, was very attentive to set-piece situations, and was quite good at positional attacks. All these are characteristics that Pafos has under Karsedo. Pafos' player Dragomir, who plays as an attacking midfielder, does a lot of work. Knowing Barko before Karsedo, I was curious to see what the coach would do with this player; the difference in distance between the Argentinian and Dragomir was about two and a half kilometers. However, thanks to the physical preparation and dialogue "In particular, Karsedo managed to reach Barko. Now, in terms of hard work, he is not as good as Dragomir, but he is also no longer the same Barko when coached by Stankovic. I think, even though there has been progress in Spartak's defense under Karsedo, Juan doesn't seem completely satisfied if the club is coach-oriented," said Zinin in an interview with Championat journalists, Alexander Ershov and Vladimir Chetverikov.
