Zaza Dzhanashia: Very happy that Georgiy Dzhikia is joining Lokomotiv, this is his club

Former Lokomotiv Moscow player, Zaza Dzhanashia, gave his response to defender Georgiy Dzhikia's move to the capital club. "I am very happy with Dzhikia's move to Lokomotiv! I thought he should have joined us last year, there were talks, but it didn't happen. This is his club, he started from Lokomotiv. Georgiy will play, he will give everything for the result. He will have no difficulty — straight into the squad. He is smart, has played in many places, in good clubs, and for the national team, he doesn't need any more adaptation," said Dzhanashia in an interview with "Championat" journalist Alexander Ershov. Previously, Dzhikia played for the second teams of Lokomotiv, Spartak Nalchik, Amkar Perm, Spartak Moscow, Khimki, and Antalyaspor in Türkiye. Last season, the 32 year old defender appeared in 15 matches in the Turkish Super Lig and scored two goals.
