Dusan Vlahovic will leave Juventus for free this summer as the club cannot meet his wage demands, director Giorgio Chiellini confirmed.
Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini has confirmed that Dusan Vlahovic will leave the club for free this summer. The 26-year-old's future with the Bianconeri has been in doubt in recent months, with Chiellini now confirming that the club will not agree to the striker's wage demands.
Since Vlahovic joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022, only Inter's Lautaro Martinez has scored more goals in Serie A than Vlahovic, with a total of 50 goals (equal to Victor Osimhen). However, Vlahovic missed most of the 2025-26 season due to a thigh injury, so he only appeared in 19 matches in the Italian league. He managed to score three goals in four Champions League games this season, but missed the match against Galatasaray in the playoffs.

Chiellini revealed that Vlahovic's salary demands are too high for Juventus, and he does not expect the forward to remain in Italy beyond the summer. "I'm very sad, he [Vlahovic] really cared about Juventus until the last minute," Chiellini told news agency AGI. "He is a serious professional. With these figures, he will not remain in Italy, so it is fair and legitimate that he is looking for a different salary."
Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Vlahovic for free. Arsenal have also been linked with the striker in previous years, although Mikel Arteta may be satisfied with the options of Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz in attack.
