Real Madrid Confirms Enzo Fernández Will Not Join

Real Madrid have issued a surprising statement regarding Enzo Fernández. Instead of introducing new players, the club confirmed that the Chelsea midfielder would not be joining.

In recent months, Spanish and English media have been busy discussing Fernández's possible arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu. This player from Argentina was not even included in the Chelsea squad after expressing his admiration for the Spanish club.

However, Fernández's future will not continue at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. "Following the reports and statements that have emerged in recent days regarding Real Madrid's alleged interest in Fernández, the club would like to emphasize that they have not made any attempt, either direct or indirect, to sign the player and also have no intention of carrying out such a transfer," said an official statement from Real Madrid.

So, why does Real Madrid feel the need to issue a statement regarding players who will not join? The club stated this was done as a form of respect for a "great player" like Fernández. "It is precisely because of the respect for a club like Chelsea and the principle of institutional loyalty that has always been the basis of Real Madrid's actions that the club feels the need to categorically refute speculation that is unfounded and does not correspond to reality."
