Perugia Officially Announces Tedesco Coaching Staff: Including Fratello Salvatore

Perugia has announced its new coaching staff for the 2026/27 season, with Giovanni Tedesco serving as main coach and Salvatore Tedesco as assistant coach.
AC Perugia Calcio officially announced the staff that will support coach Giovanni Tedesco in the 2026/27 season. Michele Gatti continues to serve as Perugia's assistant coach. One of the new faces in the team is Salvatore Tedesco, originally from Palermo, as a technical collaborator. Salvatore previously played for Perugia and has worked with his older brother, Giovanni, at several clubs abroad as a coach.

Another appointment on the staff is Giovanni Vecchini as goalkeeping coach, who previously held the position at Perugia in the 2017/18 season. Vecchini is now back after experience at Primavera sides Milan and Gubbio. The coaching staff is also strengthened by Filippo Sdringola as physical trainer and head of the Perugia Calcio Performance Area, as well as Matteo Valeri who is responsible for the recovery of injured players.
With a combination of experience and knowledge of the club environment, this new staff is expected to lead Perugia to success in the coming season.
