Manchester City are preparing to undergo changes to their attacking line this summer. Young star Mahamadou Sangare is expected to leave the club, with Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga the most likely destinations. There are doubts about the future of Omar Marmoush and Savinho. Mahamadou Sangaré, who recently joined the City Football Academy on a five-year contract after scoring 42 goals for PSG Under-19s, has adapted quickly to the demands of English youth football. He led the Elite Development Squad (EDS) during the 2025/26 campaign, registering 15 goals and three assists in 30 appearances, including seven goals in 16 Premier League 2 games. Mahamadou Sangaré's rapid development and lethal finishing have made him one of the most talked about teenagers in European football, leading some City fans to hope he can be included in the senior squad for next season's competition. However, as he prepares to feature for the France Under-19 national team at the upcoming European Championship, his future at the Etihad Stadium is now in question. According to market information from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are currently receiving several offers for highly regarded academy forward Mahamadou Sangaré, who is expected to leave the club during the ongoing transfer window. As for possible next destinations for the young French international, both Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga are considered the most likely landing spots for the 19-year-old. As well as the expected movement in the youth ranks at Manchester City, the club is also expected to see many changes to their first-team squad following the arrival of new manager Enzo Maresca. While Erling Haaland's place in the team is secure due to his long-term contract, reserve striker Omar Marmoush may seek opportunities at a more regular level, as will Savinho who is Tottenham's main target. Also remaining in the squad is Jeremy Doku, with reports from Belgium indicating that the speedy winger has agreed to extend his stay at the Etihad Stadium by signing a new contract until the summer of 2031. Amid changes on the wing, Manchester City are expected to explore the possibility of signing a new winger, in addition to their search to strengthen the midfield and perhaps add a new face at right-back to compete with Matheus Nunes.
