Igor Dmitriev, Spartak player, shares his experiences of summer holidays spent in St. Petersburg. Petersburg and Italy, as well as preparing for the upcoming season.
Spartak player, Igor Dmitriev, told how he spent his summer holidays amidst the current break in competition. "I rested during the holidays. I was in St. Petersburg, and also visited Italy — Milan and Rome. Next season will be tough, as usual. It's clear that there will be many challenges. Hopefully everything goes well. During the holidays, I didn't think about the Super Cup match. Starting tomorrow we will return to training," said Dmitriev, quoted by Championat reporter, Ilya Nikulnikov. On May 23, 2026, Spartak managed to beat Krasnodar in the match for the Russian Cup at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow. At the end of the 2025/2026 season, Spartak finished fourth in the Russian Premier League with 52 points.
