Young Coach Congratulates Alexey Batrakov on Winning at the "RPL Best Young Player" Award

Andrey Nagibin, coach of Alexey Batrakov's children, congratulated him on his victory at the “Best Young Player of the RPL” award, highlighting his consistency and leadership qualities.

Children's coach Andrey Nagibin, who once worked with Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Alexey Batrakov, gave his comments on Batrakov's victory in the annual "Championship" poll, which coincided with the "RPL Best Young Player" award. Batrakov won first place in the voting conducted by coaches and team captains in the Russian Premier League.

"I have already congratulated Alexey on his victory at this award. In recent times, there have been many reasons for congratulations (laughs). This is an indicator of quality — the second year in a row that Batrakov showed a very high level of play. Last season was not just a surge, as many people thought. He was consistent, scored a lot and was the team leader. Thanks to his actions, Lokomotiv won the bronze medal," said Nagibin in an interview with "Championship" journalist Alexander Ershov. Previously, the "Championship" award was won by Gamid Agalarov (2021/2022 season), Sergey Pinyaev (2022/2023 season), Konstantin Tyukavin (2023/2024 season), and Alexey Batrakov (2024/2025 season).
