Pedro: "Tenerife? Returning home is the best for anyone"

Pedro, a former Lazio player, expressed his desire to return home and play for Tenerife, his home team which has just been promoted to the Spanish League 2.
Pedro, a 37-year-old striker who will end his career at Lazio, revealed that perhaps the time has not yet come to hang up his boots. He still has the desire to play on the gridiron. One romantic option for the end of his career is to return to Tenerife, his original club which has just been promoted to the Spanish League 2. In an interview with Rtvc, Pedro said, "With Lazio, I think I've ended things on a good note. Now I don't know what I'm going to do. Tenerife? I'm often asked this and I have to say that it's an idea that's always interested me, we're considering it, we'll see what happens. Returning home and retiring in one's own country is the best for anyone, and of course, I want that too."
