According to a report from Sky Sport, the club from Naples has offered a five-year contract which Gila is ready to accept after an agreement with the capital club is reached. At Napoli, there is confidence to complete this deal even though negotiations with Claudio Lotito will not be easy. The fee of around 15 million euros for Gila's transfer is considered insufficient by the Lazio club, even though his contract will expire in a year, as 50% of the proceeds from future sales must be deposited with Real Madrid according to the agreement made in 2022. Therefore, some of the player swap options desired by Lotito and new coach Rino Gattuso could be a solution. One player who could be involved in this deal is Lorenzo Lucca, a 23-year-old striker who recently returned from loan at Nottingham Forest and does not appear to be in Napoli's plans.
