Murad Musaev believes that in the 2025/2026 season, Krasnodar has done a better job even though they only finished second.
The main coach of Krasnodar, Murad Musaev, stated that in this season, the "bulls" have done a better job than in the previous season. A year ago, the black and green team won the Russian Premier League title, but at the end of the 2025/2026 season, Musaev's team was only able to finish in second place.
"I am not influenced by the media and other external factors. From my internal feelings, in this “silver” season we have done better and more quality work than in the “golden” season. Unfortunately, in football sometimes the ball just hits the goal post and slides on the line, and in other places, it can fly two centimeters to the left or right and go into the goal. Nevertheless, the teamwork on both occasions was enormous. We were only a few centimeters short in certain matches," said Musaev in an exclusive interview with "Championat" correspondent Oleg Lysenko.
