CSKA defender Mateus Reis spoke about his views on the appointment of Dmitry Igdisamov as the team's main coach. "I really like Igdisamov. When he joined us under Fabio Celestini, I immediately found contact with him. He taught me a few words in Russian and gave me advice. When Dmitry Igorevich became the main coach, I understood that he really loves CSKA. This club is in his heart. I'm sure he will help us achieve our goals," said Reis as reported by the newspaper "Championat". CSKA announced the appointment of Igdisamov as main coach on June 1. The contract is for two years with an option to extend for another two years. After Fabio Celestini's dismissal, Igdisamov served as interim coach.
