Liverpool Ready to Recruit New Alexander Isak

Liverpool is preparing to recruit a new player similar to Alexander Isak. Isak's arrival at Liverpool last season was not just a prestigious transfer, but the result of a search that had lasted almost a decade. Liverpool's interest in the Swedish striker began in 2016, when Michael Edwards identified Isak as one of Europe's best young talents during his time at AIK. Liverpool explored the possibility of bringing him to Anfield, but the teenager ultimately chose Borussia Dortmund as the next step in his development.

Despite this, Liverpool's interest never faded. However, in that opening match, there is one other player who may also attract Liverpool's attention - Yasin Ayari, who is considered to be Isak's successor. After Isak left AIK, Ayari emerged as the next big prospect from the club's academy, standing out in a similar way to Isak. As a midfielder, Ayari spent three years at AIK before joining Brighton, where he took a little time to adapt. However, last season was a breakthrough campaign for him, breaking into the starting line-up and becoming one of the most unpredictable midfielders in the Premier League.

Still only 22 years old, Ayari scored two goals in his first World Cup match against Tunisia, and now TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool are one of the clubs who have shown interest in the Sweden international. Brighton are in contract negotiations with Ayari to extend his deal, but the report states that Liverpool, among a number of other clubs, are monitoring the situation and are ready to take a chance if the opportunity arises.
