The first day of the second round of the Street Football competition presented two interesting matches, where "Soiuz Chempionov" and CSKA Family achieved victory. Yury Zhirkov scored twice for CSKA Family.
The first day of the second round of the Street Football competition featured two exciting matches, where "Soiuz Chempionov" and CSKA Family managed to achieve victory. In the first match, "Soiuz Chempionov" managed to beat Smol Squad with a score of 7-5. Dublé was scored by Yury Zhirkov, where one of the goals came thanks to an assist from his son, and the other goal came from a direct free kick. Even though in the first half "Soiuz Chempionov" was ahead 4-3, in the second half they managed to widen the gap to 7-3 with three goals created through challenges. Smol Squad tried to catch up and managed to reduce the deficit to two goals, but there was not enough time to make a perfect comeback. In that match, Fedor Smolov, founder of Smol Squad, made his debut but did not manage to score a goal. "Soiuz Chempionov" achieved their second win in the group phase and is almost certain to qualify for the semifinals, while Smol Squad still has three points.
In the second match, CSKA Family managed to beat "Kinochertyi" with a score of 7-4. "Kinochertyi" started well, immediately leading 2-0, one of the goals was scored by actor Svyatoslav Rogozhan. However, CSKA Family managed to equalize thanks to goals from the former captain of the Russian rugby team, Vasily Artemyev, and actor Dmitry Chebotarev. "Kinochertyi" regained the lead after goals from Minakov and Tyumentsev, but at the end of the half, CSKA legend Yury Zhirkov scored a goal to reduce the deficit to 3-4. After the change of sides, only CSKA Family players scored. Actor Alexey Lukin scored a goal, followed by dublé Yury Zhirkov who scored with a header, and the other two goals were scored by Semen Fedotov. The match ended emotionally when "Kinochertyi's" player, Grigory Dudnik, received a straight red card. The second round will continue on June 28, where the match will take place at the "Depot. Three Stations". On Sunday, there will be two autograph sessions with "Amkal" player Herman El-Classico and former Russian national team player Alexander Kokorin.
