Jack Hendry is eagerly awaiting the match against Brazil, hoping to face Neymar who is fit again after injury.

Jack Hendry has expressed his enthusiasm to face Neymar if the superstar Brazilian striker makes his first World Cup appearance on Wednesday. The Scottish defender believes that his previous experience against Neymar will help him going into the match. Neymar, who currently plays for Santos, has scored 79 goals in 128 appearances for Brazil, but is yet to feature in the tournament due to a calf injury. Coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Neymar is ready to play against Scotland in Miami. Hendry also has experience competing against Neymar when he was still playing for Club Brugge. "I won't have any problems against him. I've already faced him in the same league. I'm quite comfortable facing Neymar. If he plays, I'll be looking forward to this exciting match," he said. Hendry added, "I would love to be able to compete against Neymar more. Unfortunately he was injured in Saudi Arabia, which is very unfortunate." He also considered that the experience of competing against the great trio consisting of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in the Champions League was very valuable. "You need to concentrate fully against quality players like them. Once you let your guard down, they can punish you. Brazil has an extraordinary history and we want to disrupt that on Wednesday. If there is a country we want to beat to advance to the next round, we want to do it against teams like this. It will be an extraordinary performance," concluded Hendry.
