Harry Kane scored twice in England's World Cup opener against Croatia, becoming only the second player to score for England in three different World Cups.
Harry Kane showed his sharpness again at the World Cup, scoring the opening goal for England in their first match against Croatia in Dallas. Despite missing his first penalty attempt, the Bayern Munich striker managed to capitalize on a second chance after a Croatian player was deemed to have broken the rules by entering the penalty area early. Kane did not waste this opportunity and managed to score a goal well.

With this goal, Kane increased his goal record in the World Cup to 12 goal contributions in 12 matches. More interestingly, he now joins another England legend, David Beckham, as the second player to score for England in three different World Cups (2018, 2022, 2026).
After Croatia equalized, Kane scored again with a header that put England back in front. His brilliant form continues, and Kane shows that he is still at his best. Will he and Erling Haaland be favorites to win the tournament's golden boot?
