Gordon Officially Joins Barcelona

English player Anthony Gordon will officially join Barcelona at 13:00 WIB and be introduced at 13:30. The deal includes a five-year contract with fixed payments of 70 million euros plus 10 million euros in variables.
Barcelona has not officially announced the arrival of Anthony Gordon, but the schedule for the inauguration of the English player is already known. If there are no sudden changes, Gordon will sign the contract at 13:00 WIB at Spotify Camp Nou, and 30 minutes later will be introduced to the media.
Gordon will sign a five-year contract, with Barcelona paying around 70 million euros plus 10 million euros in variables to Newcastle. Thus, Gordon becomes the first player recruited by Barcelona for the 2026-27 season.
Barcelona's Sports Director, Deco, went to London earlier this week and completed the transfer process. Gordon arrived in Barcelona on Thursday to undergo a medical and meet the sporting director for dinner.
Gordon, who previously played for Newcastle, will soon return to the England national team, which kicks off at the World Cup in just over ten days. He expressed his joy immediately after arriving in Barcelona.
Last season, Gordon appeared in 46 matches in all competitions, and he can play as a striker or left winger. This season, he has met Barcelona three times in the Champions League, where he scored one goal in the first match of the group stage, as well as facing them in two Champions League quarter-final matches.
