Connor Ronan Can't Wait to Start His Career at Aberdeen

Midfielder Connor Ronan "can't wait to get started" after officially joining Aberdeen on a two-year contract, with the option of a one-year extension. The 28-year-old previously played under Dons coach Stephen Robinson at St Mirren and most recently had a spell with Colorado Rapids.

Ronan also has experience playing in England, Slovakia and Switzerland, with a total of 275 senior appearances and scoring 15 goals. Robinson told Aberdeen's official website: "He is a creative player who will bring valuable experience to our midfield. He has a strong work ethic, can score goals and has clearly matured during his time in MLS. Equally important, he has the character and professionalism we want in the squad."

Ronan added: "I'm really happy everything is finished and can't wait to get started. From the first conversation I had with the manager, it was clear what the club wanted to build and where I fit in those plans. I've also worked with Stephen before and I know exactly what he expects from me. That's a very important factor. I want to be part of helping the club compete at the top, get back to Europe and challenge for trophies."
