Chicago Fire Announces Robert Lewandowski Transfer

Major League Soccer (MLS) club Chicago Fire announced that they have officially signed former Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski. In an official statement on the club's social media, they called Lewandowski "an icon of world football and Poland's all-time top goalscorer".

Lewandowski previously played for Barcelona since the summer of 2022. During last season, the Polish striker appeared in 46 matches in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 4 assists. Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona is supposed to run until June 30 2026.

Currently, Chicago Fire is in third place in the MLS Eastern Conference standings.
