Chelsea Announces Four Players Who Will Leave the Club at the End of the 2025-26 Season

Chelsea has officially announced the list of players who will leave the club at the end of the 2025-26 season. The four players will say goodbye to Stamford Bridge on June 30, when their contracts expire. One of the names mentioned is Brodi Hughes, a defender who grew up in the Chelsea academy. Hughes joined the club aged eight and spent thirteen seasons at the academy, most recently on loan at Wimbledon in League One.

Apart from that, Richard Olise will also leave the club. He is a player who has spent a decade at the Chelsea academy. Joining the academy at Under 9, the attacking midfielder, who is the brother of Michael Olise, was called up to the first team for the Conference League match against Astana in the 2024-25 season.

Samuel Rak-Sakyi will also leave Chelsea. The midfielder, who also joined the academy at a young age, has made four appearances with the first team. His debut came in the Conference League against Noah, where he then appeared in three other matches.

The latest player to be announced as leaving is Jimi Tauriainen. This player from Finland joined Chelsea in 2020 and was called up for the 2024 Carabao Cup final against Liverpool. A few days after that, he made his first-team debut in an FA Cup match against Leeds, and also appeared in the Premier League against Tottenham.
